Macrossin's and Charters Towers

Macrossin's Camp spot on the Burdekin River

Nice spot off the highway, about 20km east of Charters Towers. Us girls also experienced a nice view off the old railway bridge!! This was an adrenalin rush and something we wont forget. It was fairly easy getting up the cross bars, although Jess froze at one point and got shaky legs:-) It was a very slow and scary walk across the long bridge on 8 inch wide beams... Trying to focus on where to walk and also looking down at the ground 20m below (or more) was tricky. We felt a bit safer over the water. Needless to say... We made it! pheww...

At the paid camp grounds down the road from Macrossan's we performed our whip cracking and Fire twirling show for the happy campers. And the next night we performed again at the Big 4 caravan park in Charters Towers, The park managers thought we were attracted to their swimming pool... I guess we needed a good swim :-)

Both shows went really well and the park managers at the Big 4 donated some yummy wood fire pizza's! A few pizza's earlier where burnt due to the cook engrossed in our show, but all the campers ate well and enjoyed the entertainment :-)

The direction of our camp at the Big 4... toward the dump point... but really wasn't a bad spot
