Townsville, Bluewater, Toomulla, Rollingstone

Townsville area wow!! We have done a lot here since we arrived here around three weeks ago. We found osme great camp spots, and met heaps of friendly travellers and locals. It was hard for us to move on, but we eventually made the move up to Babinda.
When we arrived in Townsville, we walked the goat trail up to castle hill, which was far from what we expected.... not a small bush track. We got advised to wear strong solid hiking boots, bring plenty of water, hat etc.. as it is a difficult, remote and dangerous track. Wow! we thought, sounds extreme!! haha Yes we learnt it was like a well made highway to the top. Good views and noticed a few climbing and abseiling spots, so we decided to make a trip back to experience the heights from a different view.

Gonchi's 80 metre abseil!!! Yahooo!! the one and only, haha!!

Roddy's (yoyo) first abseil - castle hill, we all must say he abseiled very fast;-)

Gonchi freaking out before his first climb;-)

Gonchi freezing up top and then finally collapsing at the bottom, but he made it and did well!!! Fun Times!!!

One big happy family... Rob and Isabel thankyou so much for your hospitality:-)
