Paluma

We made a day trip out to the beautiful Paluma swimming hole with a group of friends. The water was amazingly clear and very refreshing! Did some snorkelling there and saw lots of fishies!! Also had fun on the slippery rock slides.

Water so clear!!

Jump!!

Come back!!

One, Two, Three... dive!

So pretty! We will definitely have to visit this place again

Pete told Nath to pose! So he did his best! Haha

Townsville, Bluewater, Toomulla, Rollingstone

Townsville area wow!! We have done a lot here since we arrived here around three weeks ago. We found osme great camp spots, and met heaps of friendly travellers and locals. It was hard for us to move on, but we eventually made the move up to Babinda.
When we arrived in Townsville, we walked the goat trail up to castle hill, which was far from what we expected.... not a small bush track. We got advised to wear strong solid hiking boots, bring plenty of water, hat etc.. as it is a difficult, remote and dangerous track. Wow! we thought, sounds extreme!! haha Yes we learnt it was like a well made highway to the top. Good views and noticed a few climbing and abseiling spots, so we decided to make a trip back to experience the heights from a different view.

Gonchi's 80 metre abseil!!! Yahooo!! the one and only, haha!!

Roddy's (yoyo) first abseil - castle hill, we all must say he abseiled very fast;-)

Gonchi freaking out before his first climb;-)

Gonchi freezing up top and then finally collapsing at the bottom, but he made it and did well!!! Fun Times!!!

One big happy family... Rob and Isabel thankyou so much for your hospitality:-)

Alligator Creek

Finally found some power to plug the laptop in and update our blog... sorry everyone it has been awhile:-) A lot has happened since our last update I think way too much to put all of it up. We have seen some amazing things, been to many beautiful places and have met many nice people who will continue to be in our memories... Anyway after Home Hill one of our favourite spots between there and Townsville was a place called Alligator Creek, we also crossed paths with our favourite Frenchmen again who we met back at Wunjunga Beach...

This was goodbye to our French friends, everyone said pull a funny face, it only looks like 2 off us tried:-)

Away they went!!
